Twilight Facing North East
Tonight I didn't wait until dark to walk. I walked as the sun was slipping down behind the mountain. The trees were silhouetted against the golden sky. I walked to my favorite spot on the bluff to look at the north eastern side of the sky. I like the others on this side of the sky at twilight. The colors are mauve, soft gray, and blue. I've watched golden moons rise though those twilight colors. I've also seen towering thunderhead burn with orange and red and yellow in that part of the sky with lightening flashing underneath them and a pale moon shining above.
